French photographer, Charles Thiefaine shares the story of Mohammed, a young Syrian rescued by the teams of the Ocean Viking in summer 2024 in the Libyan Search and Rescue Region. Through this beautiful series of images, we glimpse his journey from Syria to the Mediterranean, his struggles, resilience and hopes for a brighter future.
